Clear Pathias's UNZA Balance to Return to Medical School

My name is Pathias Phiri, a Zambian medical student at the University of Zambia (UNZA) School of Medicine. In 2025, financial hardship forced me to withdraw from my studies. I could not settle my tuition balance, so my results were withheld, and I had to pause my HELSB student loan while I looked for a way back. I have not given up. I now work a job that pays K2,000 a month, although I haven't graduated, HELSB deducts half of my salary to begin repaying my loan. That leaves me too little to save toward my balance, and it is keeping me out of the school. However, UNZA has approved my return to school for the 2027 academic year. The only thing standing in my way is an outstanding balance of K14,000, which must be cleared so I can register in 2027 academic year. How my donation will be used: All funds go toward clearing my UNZA balance, which releases my results and lets me resume my MBChB. I'm raising K14,000, and I'm happy to share the official balance statement and my approval letters so you can see exactly where your gift goes. I want to become a doctor and serve my community. Any gift, large or small, or simply sharing this campaign, brings me closer to that goal. Thank you for your support.

Help me start a poultry business

Title: Help me Start a Poultry Business My Story: My name is Banda Joseph Junior. I am a teacher by profession, a university student pursuing my degree, and the breadwinner for my family. I also live with a visual impairment, which makes daily life and my studies more challenging, but I am determined to succeed. To try and secure a better future for my family, I took out a loan to buy land. However, repaying this loan has become an overwhelming burden. It is now failing to take care of my family, paying my university expenses, and covering my medical costs. As a teacher, I believe in education and hard work. I am not asking for a permanent handout; I am asking for a hand-up. I want to start a chicken run (poultry) business. Poultry farming is something I can manage alongside my teaching and studies. This business will provide a sustainable income to help me cover my medical and school expenses, and feed my family. Your donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards buying chicks, chicken feed, and building a simple coop. Please help me turn this situation around so I can continue teaching and providing for my loved ones. Thank you and God bless.

Help SYDMED Restore Ultrasound Services for Rural Communities

Help SYDMED Bring Ultrasound Services Closer to Rural Communities My name is Sydney Kamiji, a Public Health Scientist and founder of SYDMED Diagnostic Centre in Zambia. I am raising funds to acquire an portable ultrasound machine so that I can restore and expand diagnostic ultrasound services, particularly for pregnant women, women of reproductive age, and vulnerable families in rural communities such as Shibuyunji District. In many rural communities, people have to travel long distances to access diagnostic services. For pregnant women, this can be especially difficult due to transportation costs, distance and limited availability of ultrasound services. My vision through SYDMED is to bring these services closer to the communities that need them. I work with rural health facilities and conduct outreach services so that people can access appropriate ultrasound examinations without always having to travel long distances to major towns. The ultrasound machine will support services such as pregnancy and fetal wellbeing, pelvic and abdominal examinations, and other appropriate diagnostic assessments. Where a patient requires further medical attention, appropriate referral to a health facility will be encouraged. This project is not just about buying a machine. It is about improving access to diagnostic healthcare for people who are often underserved. I have invested my time and resources into establishing SYDMED, but acquiring medical equipment requires more capital than I can currently raise on my own. This is why I am reaching out to individuals, healthcare professionals, organisations, friends and well-wishers around the world. How You Can Help Any contribution, whether large or small, will bring us closer to acquiring the ultrasound machine. If you cannot donate, you can still make a difference by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, churches, healthcare professionals, organisations and networks. I am also open to support in the form of a reliable ultrasound machine from anyone or any organisation willing to donate or buy for SYDMED. I am committed to using the equipment for its intended purpose and providing updates on the progress of the project. Your support can help bring essential diagnostic services closer to rural communities and make a meaningful difference in the lives of women, families and patients in Zambia. Thank you for believing in this vision, supporting SYDMED and helping us bring healthcare closer to the people who need it most. Sydney Kamiji Founder, SYDMED Diagnostic Centre Zambia
